MARCH 1 Hans at farm, using my car for first time since Jan. 16! Wrote 7 letter 7 Sunny. thawed some. Ironed, baked 2 mince pies, mended. About all in. 38 Sunny, snow almost gone. In morning had card notarized that I have Wis. car license. At Barber's, home at 9, then to Finkelson's to begin getting milk. Baked bread, made nite shirt for Hans drove in for kids. Wrote Belle B, sick. Letter from Henson 39. Sunny + lamblike. Finished ironing + got mail. but kept getting worse + had high temperature + backache. Throat better. Amanda + family move on our farm. Hans there.
