MARCH 5 Drove my car for first time since Jan. 16! Baked brown bread + cake, shrunk 3 yds tweed, called on Mrs. Hogan, who is to move to farm. Wrote to Dora. Mopped for once, tho it tired me. Velma missed her Ill. Central train so was not here for supper. Hans took her home from bus. Warm + sunny. Hilda washed, etc. I baked bread, made [illegible], washed windows; took Frank in for guitar lesson at 2. Mrs. Finkelson went in with us. Tried to get Hans on phone at Montevideo, Minn. Hilda + I went to Trousdale - others to Middleton. Taught our class of 6 + 2 men. In P.M. Marjorie Zwnik + Robt. Lemcke here for ping pong. Signe led first Christian Endeavor mtg. Snowed all day. 6 inches.
