March 19 Was at Dyersville, also last eve at banquet at Link's cafe, an hour in A.M. for photos. Shopped a little. Quilted at Jennie Whitsell's all P.M. with 6 other Irmscher auxiliary women. Began typing a copy of Bess Clark's Oriental tour letters. Took children & Ella W. to Dubuque to hear I.S.C. Glee Club at Masonic temple with [Name] MacRae directing and marimba xylophonist. Hans and I at Krotz' at Ames dinner. Snowed going in, took an hr. Girls washed. K. baked bread and cookies. Signe & I shopped for her hat, saw [2?] real estate men. Hilda went with Harold Pederson to McFarland play. I baked cake. Brandt's here in eve. 9 Helen & I to Muehlmeier's to practise then she sang at church. I out of house for 1st since Tues. Hans came at 1, Dan Hollock here in P.M. We took Helen to 4:55 train to Evanston. Played Lexington rummy.
