March 30 1936. Cleaned up downstairs. Mr. & Mrs. Ludley came at 4 and got supper in "Wear-Ever" aluminum for Mr. & Mrs. Hallett. Breneman's, Bess K, Edna Maxwell, Wm. Hawkins' & 2 other salesmen. I get a Scout Kit for being hostess. 1937. Signe & Hilda got E's after B.B. banquet. Backache. We got electric refrigerator "Coldspot" & set it up in kitchen & put half hog in it Hans got at farm Sunday. Made ice cream in it. Washed hair. 1938. Mopped, had girls help clean up downstairs. Made final typed copy of our script, finished outlining 3 chapters of "Mecca & Beyond" which I gave 2 of at Missionary Society at Lohman's in eve. Jasmine tea & cookies. 1939. Warmed up & snow melted. Made a M.W. order, including flower seeds! Made apron by new pattern I got from Mrs. Zentner. 19
