April 12 19 Easter. Sunny. Girls at Easter breakfast & sunrise service. I listened with 100,000 others to Oklahoma passion play—Drove to Buckhorn. got stuck in ruts! Dinner at folks; Olga's there. At farm a while. Hepaticas Easter program in eve. Frank & Signe in plays. 19 Jay left for Ill. after breakfast. Very windy, chilly. Napped. Went to Irmscher Aux. in eve at Jennie Whitsall's Embroidering on Hilda's pillowcase. 19 No furnace fire. Wrote Hans. Letter from Dora who was at Uncle Will's funeral—after it was over—Blizzard's made it hard for relatives to get there. Worked on K's rust dress all day. 19 Went to Madison with girls. Cold and windy. Letter to Dora, Flo, Hans, & Mrs. Randall. got library books bought elec. range, finally found 2 elec. fixtures to match ours. Got Frank & went to order his bees from LW Parmon. Ford bendix broke. Home 6:30. 9
