April 22 19 Wrote to Mrs. Freitag, Mrs. C.B. Stocks & Mrs. Randall. At zone mtg. of W.HMS—here from 10 to 4. Talked on Jr. work. 19 Did big washing. 8 of us Garden Club members were quests of Farley's federated Club at Mrs. Jordan's. Co. pres. & sec. there. Howard & Merlin Ropp plowed our gardens. 19 Ironing took till after dinner, then we loaded up a trailer load and took it to our new home. 2 letters & card from Hans, still in N.D. 19 Up at 5, cleaned my room, took Frank to Parman's to find out about his bees; went with Mrs Zentner, Mrs. Reiels & Miss Zillier to Rural Federation mtg. at Woman's Bldg—lunch at 4. W. Blew a gasket—so was relieved of parking worries, K uncovered strawberries. 9
