April 30 19 Ironed, mended, finished lavender print dress, baked gingerbread. Hans came home in A.M.—not well enuf to work. 19 Better—Clean up my room, baked oatmeal cookies, sewed on Signe's blue dress. Geo. Francois conducted Open Forum mtg. at school. Roomful. Here till midnight. 19 Hans took trailer load & brot Frank back. Carl Brandt & Olaf Hestnes came soon after noon & loaded truck load & we took huge trailer load. Furnace fire, & grand bath in tiled bathroom. Tired from packing, mopping, etc. 19 Cards from Hans, Dora, Florence. Made yellow "Miracle" print dress for Kathryn while she did other work. Cleaned my old mattress for Frank. Parman's brought his 2" pkg bees to re-place first ones. He went to Middleton on errands and was gone 7 hours! 19
