June 15 19 Washed & ironed, Kathryn helping as we brot her home last night. [May?] W. came & took Jean to Galena. 19 Exhibited missionary pictures Africa in my 15 min period. Mrs. [Consfall?] will have it rest of week. Began setting Epworth quiet together. Finished "Blood Relations" 19 Purple clematis blooming. Went in with Signe and spent forenoon shopping—on my feet till tired. Got myself two dresses I needed. Kathryn picked 14 qt. strawberries. I canned 3 qt. She made 9 pts. preserves & shortcake. She and I went with Signe to class night program at East High—338 in class. 19 Cold packed 3 qt. berries. K picked & made a lot sunshine preserves. Much warmer. Cards to Hilda, Hans, & his mother. To Ladies' Aid in P.M—acted as sec. Barber's are to move to Seattle. bought their studio couch, pt. jars & bead [mat?] Picnic supper at church. Played Lexington Rummy at [Prockman's?]. Called on Emma Hadley, Gale Johnson's. Letter from Hilda. She is busy in office work at I.S.C. 19
