July 7 19 We finished a large ironing by 11. did mending & crocheted some. 19 Traffic & tennis players at West High bothered sleep some. Saw Malec property out with Harks Co and Coffey Co. to look more. Emma & I at Fusch's in eve. Too hot to go home—or sleep. 19 Polished silver, washed 18 windows, baked rolls. Signe baked cake, cleaned downstairs. [4?] came to Missionary Potluck supper farewell for Lohman's. I picked 2 qt raspberries for it. Rev. and Mrs. Barber, Miss Shaw, Mr & Mrs. B. Kirkpatrick, Mr & Mrs. Cecil [Corswill?], Mesdames Swodley, Dyer, Tasker, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil, Miss Day & Ruth L. 19 Helped move Barber's bed from garage to my room & took nap in it—sure is nice. Signe has painted mine for her room, also 2 chairs green. She went to John Haley's in eve to begin working. I went to Brandt's in P.M. to get my suitcase K. left there a month ago. First phlox out. 19
