AUGUST 3 1936. Washed - demonstration practising at Callahan's at 4H club mtg. Helped select canned goods to exhibit. 1937. Blueberry muffins for breakfast. Hilda, Hans and I left at 6 for Madison. I drove, but got sick coming back. Hadley's not home. Dinner overlooking Lake Waubeesa. Made deal with A.J. Sperley to rent his house 6 mo. then buy it. Ted Field [illegible]. 1938. Picked about last quart of raspberries and pickles to make more than 4 qt. Shampooed my hair, drying it in record time. Condensed my pimento cheese story for W.F. 1939. Wrote Hilda and Dora - then got cards that Hilda is coming home. K and I at bank and P.O. then to Madison. Called on MacKenzies at 1249 Drake. Washed some windows, baked beans. K and I at picnic 5-8 at Picnic Point for Grace. Very nice time. 19
