AUGUST 28 Garden Club with Mrs. W. B. Miller in P.M. Mrs. Callahan informed Eileen has high temp again and Anna Louise will take her part. I typed it in eve. Delores Bassler here overnite. Mopped my and Frank's rooms, mended [illegible]. Girls sold 9 young chickens - I chopped [off?] several heads. Sophia Sefzik here. My S.S. girls gave me farewell gift - cream and sugar. Hans home from Mich. at 7. We went to [see?] Pauline, who goes to State Fair tomorrow. Elsie, girls and I to S.S. and church. 9 in my and K's S.S. class. At 4, we drove to Brandt's and got Kathryn and to G. Gunderson's and got Frank, who had been there since Friday. Called on Bessie Wright in A.M., Margaret Fitzgerald at pool in P.M., Mrs. Henry [Axley?] in eve.
