SEPTEMBER 30 1936. More phone calls; called on Mrs. Kline for P.T.A. membership chairman; presided in eve. Small crowd - Supt. [Breneman?] forgot to send word by children. Mrs. [Faley?] is hospitality chm. 1937. Went with girls to Madison, went to library while car bumper was mended; lunch with Grace Kirkpatrick; then called on Mrs. R.H. [illegible], 2215 Hollister Ave - friend of Cousin Frank's. 1938. Canned 11 qt. tomato juice and 4 pt chili sauce from Ziegler's tomatoes, 93 qt. canned in Sept. Took nap, sewed a little, went to Middleton. Frank at Freshman party. Wrote Hans, Lillian M. Letters from Pauline, Fred. 19 Canned 33 qt. tomato juice, with Frank washing, Velma cutting and Kate "squishing" them thru. K made a lot of sweet rolls. Got apples at Stober's. Had last lima beans. White frost. 19
