OCTOBER 31 Mopped 3 floors., made 1-1/2 qt. green tomato mince meat. 4H mtg at Waechter's in P.M. but Signe, Kathryn and I only ones who came. Planned 4H dinner party for Nov. 21. S.S. and church at Trousdale M.E. Mr. Kirkpatrick taught S.S. Glenn Frank preached. 30" anniversary. Read "Black Hawk's Trail". Girls heard Prof. Miller at E.L. Wrote several letters. Nice washday. Sent Hans' mother a birthday card and Hans his absent voters ballot. Painted both sets of house steps. 2 cards from Hans. Letter from Amanda. Rain all day. Ironed some for Ruth. Helped get ready for her Halloween party in eve. Another nap!
