NOVEMBER 10 Washed and ironed some before dinner! Ladies' Aid comm. mtg. at Mrs. Miller's to plan "Calendar party" for Nov. 23. Wrote '15 circle letter. Tried to get someone to go to Dubuque for teacher training course. Frank had no school; tried to find goose when it disappeared - no luck. I washed, mended some before dinner! Kitties like the sun porch. Finished the ironing, dressed a chicken, made my first - and last- pumpkin chiffon pie. Mended. Card of Dewaine Raymond Skott, Nov. 4 Finished ironing and mending, made salad for Ames party and buffet supper at Trenk's, 2606 Gregory St. 22 there. Played Bingo. Stopped at Hadley's on way in. Wrote Pauline, Hans.
