NOVEMBER 12 Practised W.H.M.S. playlet at parsonage. Baked bread, patched a north office window. Cleaned up dining room, etc. prepared for a visit from Inspector and Mrs. "Squawk" Hand who did not come. Baked beans, dressed the goose, on sun porch, a fine place for the job. Wrote Mrs. Randall and Jennie Whitsell. The goose was at Brandts! Signe did grocery shopping on way home from Sat A.M. classes. Frank dug more carrots - I washed a bushel of them and [capped?] 3 bu. K. dug her rutabagas and put them by well. Worked in back yard comfortably. I had to rest some. Wrote Hans. 31°. Another sunny day, all of us to S.S. Miss Wilda Wilson of Milwaukee talked about Jewish mission at church. Velma and I went in to mail letters. Called on Roberts'. Wrote Millie, Josephine.
