NOVEMBER 19 1936. Cooked a big pumpkin, scrubbed the kitchen cabinet. Went to Farm Bureau meeting at Barney McGeever's, Mrs. Huff leader. 1937. To Madison with girls, then back in P.M. taking Grace K to dessert tea at Hadley's with 9 Ames girls: Mae Reynaldo, Delia Munger, Bock, Whitsell, Frank at Bingo party at school in eve. Frank won 2 prizes. I helped take pennies. 1938. Dressed chicken, baked oatmeal cookies, wrote Hans. Cut two pair of pajama pants, made Signe's. Letter from Hans. 1939 Fine sunny day of sunny week. To S.S. Dinner for 12 - Prof and Mrs. Alfred Myer and Annette, Ardith Hurley, Florence Kuhn and Miss Dixon. Velma helped and all girls served. Ping pong in P.M. We all went to C.E. play in eve "The Intruder". Kathryn in it. 19
