DECEMBER 20 19 Got back to Dora's after midnight and slept till 8. Church at Collegiate Methodist. Dora's and we at Riley's for dinner - Home in good time, 3:40 to 8. Grand weather. 19 Hans off for 2 days' work near Milwaukee. 5 pkgs. and 30 cards off in mail. I did 10 days' washing, Hilda hanging. Too tired - headache, backache, etc. K at Brandt's with Joan while others stripped tobacco. Girls in Pageant "Herod's Vision". 19 4 pkg. off - Dressed the duck Ande's sent. Hans off for 4 days work in Crawford Co. Pkg. from Helen, cards from Helen. Florence [Blint's?]. Fried out leaf lard. Wrote a dozen cards and notes. Sent 4 pkgs. 19 Took Sig in for shot to Dr. Ruff. Mailed towel to Elsie at Youngstown O and bunch of cards and letters. Cards from August, Helene, Mrs. Randall, Boyers'. 14 here in eve for C.E. party. Games and Christmas pkgs. Refreshments, punch, jello, little cup cakes Signe made. 19
