DECEMBER 28 19 Signe cut out her royal blue matelasse' dress; I crocheted edge for pillowcase. Wrote to Allan. We played a couple games Norwegian whist. New "Author" cards popular. 19 30° and sunny. I washed and Kathryn hung out clothes outdoors. She helped me pick the duck Ande's sent and I dressed it. Mended Hans' clothes. Frank has new brown leather and sheepskin coat that Ronald outgrew. 19 Still cold. Canned 4 qt pumpkin. Hans left for farm after dinner. Just Signe, Hilda and I home. Crocheted on blue cotton rug. Wrote Dora, W.W. Anderson's for their 50th anniversary New Year's. 19 We ironed. Had family picture taken at Reierson studio. Hans at Kolb's 1214 Edgewood Drive. All of us at Procknow's for supper and till 10:30. 19
