April 29th. Rain all day. Old Mr. Edwins died this morning. Albert Arvid, Mary and I stayed at Edwin's all night. Wrote letter to [Ben?] April 30th. Slept in forenoon. Dug grave in afternoon. Got bull from Edwins' in evening. May 1st. Set posts in forenoon. Tore out fences and hauled straw in afternoon. May 2nd. Drove to Elmer & Willie's in forenoon for stretcher. Helped Arvid get bull home. Talked to Albin abt. grinding. Got strawberry plants of Arvid. Edwins funeral in afternoon. Spaded ground for strawberry plants in evening. May 3rd. Planted strawberries in morning. Tore down fences around [jail?]. To town in afternoon. Got bull in evening again. May 4th. Went to town to church. Was up at hospital to see Betty & Joe and boys. Went to see [Hyabinar?].
