Went home by way of Christensons and got 160 eggs. May 6th. Worked at church in forenoon. Spliced fence and stretched north and east sides in afternoon. Alma set bunch of hens. Wind veered eastward again. Fed last of corn fodder. May 6th. Rain in forenoon. David Edwins over in forenoon. Set grinder. Ground one load for Will. 30 bus 10 lbs. Worked a little at fence. Albert over in evening. May 7th. Worked at fence early in forenoon. Ground corn. One load for Will. One for Albin. Worked at fence in afternoon. Elva Minnick and Anna Steele over. Hauled jag of corn to barn. May 8th. Finished fence all but gate, A nice day but I'm afraid it'll rain soon again. Hauled out two loads of manure from barn. Made a
