weather. Went to church. Took a nap in afternoon. Mary Smith's (bran?). Took girls back in evening. Sept 29th. Worked at trench in morning. Went to Bouton in afternoon after 32 sacks cement. Sept 30th. A big rain last nite. Pulled out 2 cars out of mud-hole this morning. Castrated pigs after dinner. Also worked at automobile. The roan cow bred today. Oct 1st. Castrated Albert's pigs in morning. Cleaned out two loads of manure in forenoon, took home pumpkins. Took up fence. Set posts. Rain, Oct 2nd. Cleaned trench. Got mixer home. Filled a little of trench with concrete. More rain. Oct 3rd. Tore out a little fence. Finished making wall around the big room. Pulled out one truck and divers small cars. Most rain. Oct 4th. Pretty wet. Pulled out one
