Friendship What a comfort it is to have friends without whom we would be miserable and in [illegible]. To have friends we should be a [illegible] [illegible] friends we should always speak kindly to our scoolmates and allow no harsh word to pass between us. How unpleasant would it sound to hear or to see the [schoolboys?] [disparaging?] about some little thing that was said or done accidentally how childish would it look and so it would be, There are two kinds of friendship - one is [true?] and the other false. Some friendships consists in always speaking the [illegible] and not allowing ourselves to speak unkindly of them when their faces are [illegible] or say things about them we would not have said had they been present and the false friendship is not any thing but just saying things behind their backs what they would not say in their presence and
