and enjoy this clumsy account of my second trip and not feel that I have underestimated your interest in such things. We started last Tuesday about three oclock. (I will send a map with our route marked thereon - and indicate portages with an X) There were two canoes, two counsellers - myself & Bob Merrian, a Chicago U. track man, four campers and four packs weighing between 80 & 90 lbs. Also there were two other boys - non-campers who were vacationing on a lake nearby - who had persuaded Doc to let them go with one of his Camp trips in as much as their mother would not let them go alone.
