in the rear of the quarters, today I was on dress parade for the first time- Met with a caucus to elect field officers-- the subject was laid over untill three tomorrow. One of our men Mr. Hendricks was quite sick today and we sent him and Dorland to town- beautiful weather- =May 20th Had an excelent nights rest, awaked while the roll was being called. About 7 received orders to report at head quarters to serve as Capt of Guards Reported in due time-
