to moor do not know whether she will return or not - More this evening - June Second - This morning we still lie on the sand bar with no prospect of getting off - The weather last night was decidedly wet - and I fear the boys who are all ashore suffered considerably. I intended to stay out with them, but when I got to the boat the mate said he did not intend to return again - although he did afterward I however was engaged so that I could not go - I do hope we will get off today
