Supplemental to June 16" & 17" June 16th Sharp shooters bother us all day, their balls coming close to us at times, the boys crying out "dont shoot our new flag. I will report you to Col Walker. A continuous fire of the two batteries in our front on the hill. the 14" Ohio major crawls up and reconnoiters nearly getting shot, 17. That order of Turchins to, "co and clear the front with two companies." brought down the whole regiment on him. It could have taken two regiments at least.
