May 6 1864 Dear father and mother and Sister I Sat don to lat you know that I am well and I hope that those fue lins will find you the Same we are marching we [went?] to Church to day and I thot that I wold rite you those fue lins we are going to dolton to try the rebs a pul I ges that we will be in the fite Sundy we are on a forsd march we march 80 mils in 6 days but we stand it well
