May between the hills (there was some prospect of the enemy coming through that way) there we took our dinner & lay there untill nearly night when we were relieved we marched back about 1 mile & camped for the night about 5 miles from where we started, we could hear skirmishing in the afternoon, at night I had a severe head ache with vomiting
