WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 1864. Went to the capitol. Spent all the forenoon in Trustees Meeting discussing the Orpan Asylum. Mrs. B - spent the evening with us. THURSDAY 4 Orpan Asylum absorbs all our time. Went with Mr B - to the Hall to the Tableaux. Very interesting. Enjoy myself well, with a few doubts. FRIDAY 5 Wrote some, read some, and talked much. So the day was not very profitable. Am trying to be more trusting.
