FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 1864. With Mr. Bs help wrote about thirty letters, Went to the concert in the evening. Wrote an article for the Nonpareil. Very happy. SATURDAY 13 Finished the writing I had to do. Evening attended the meeting of the 3rd Branch of the Legislature. It was amusing but unprofitable. Mr. B walked home with me, and our conversation bordered on the serious SUNDAY 14. Tonight as we came from church __ gave me a letter that made me very sad. The same old story.
