SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 1864. Spent most of the day writing. Brother sick. Had a most sensible talk with Mr R--s. Letter from Mrs W-. In trouble again, believe God will deliver her as He always has. SUNDAY 28 A Holy Day. Delightful to me. Ortus almost well. Took up the cross & felt blest in doing so. Evening with Mrs [D-'s and Tirzah?]. MONDAY 29 Wrote in the forenoon and taught for Ortus in the afternoon. A good time at Mrs Darwins, & a prospect of boarding there when I return.
