SUNDAY, APRIL 3, 1864 Church at Exchange Dinner at Bro Vernons. Long talk with Mr Taylor in regard to woman & her duties. Evening reading & writing. MONDAY 4 Went through rain and storm to the Orphans Home. Foud it better then we had expected. Ride on the train delightful, Mrs [Willenger infering good m?] TUESDAY 5 Called at the Gate City office & arranged for printing circulars Busy writing all evening. Very tired.
