FRIDAY, JULY 29, 1864. Mrs W- came today Went with her to the Commission rooms and spent the afternoon with Manda. What blessings surrounded me! SATURDAY 30 Solemn day! Eighth Anniversary of my Consecration to God. May the future be more devoted to the service of my Redeemer! SUNDAY 31 This has been a sad, but very interesting day. Spent mostly in the wards. My heart almost sickens at the suffering we see all the time.
