THURSDAY, AUGUST 4, 1864. The Light Diet Kitchen work employs most of our time. Will have more time for other matters when things are fairly started. FRIDAY 5 Cushioning crutches mending, & distributing handkerchiefs to the sick ones. So our time goes day after day SATURDAY 6 Time steals rapidly away in this delightful work. Best of all the soldiers seem grateful.
