TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 1864. "A fellow feeling makes us wondrous kind". So many of us are waiting for a. train that we enjoy (?) each others [as?] appointment. WEDNESDAY 7 Started to take a ride rain prevented. A pleasant evening with Col' & Julia Stanley. O! so anxious to be off for home. THURSDAY 8 Took the evening Har- train for Atlanta enjoyed the wild scenery along the route, & the beautiful moonlight.
