SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15, 1864. Called to see Milton & dined with his sisters. Exceedingly anxious for his recovery. Eve at Mr. Dees, writing letters, [Train?] - come. SUNDAY 16 Spent the eve with Manda at our Brothers grave. Some one had placed a bouquet there. Wept out the great sorrow filling our hearts. MONDAY 17 Spent most of the day reading to Milton. At Mrs Dees in the evening So greatful for the kindness of friends.
