attempt such a feat as this and few are calculated to accomplish it. With such an amount of confidence as the army has in him we cannot fail. We will soon begin to feel the effects of their Militia & Bush whackers, but our boys will fight them merrily as they would attend a holy day fete, and the retaliatory order will check them somewhat. 17th Got on the road at day-light and marched briskly to Lithonia a little town on the A & G RR where our Mechanics & Eng's were tearing up the RR. We moved out to Conyer station
