Savannah Campaigns ordered to move at 9. on our great expedition Gen Shermans order of march read to us. The 20 & 14 Corps were to constitute the left while the 15 & 17 were the right, to move on parallel roads as nearly as possible, Restrictions on foraging, and retaliation by burning houses was to be done only by orders, when guerillas molested us. We have plenty of rations but their issue is to be limited. We pass out through many lines of works,
