where we strung out and our Brig tore up its 1 1/2 mls destroying it completely, Stoneman was here last july, and burned several trains, We worked hard and got off again at 5 PM and reached camp at 7 P.M, near a small stream; marching during the day about 19 miles, Our corps is strung out and tears up all the RR as it goes, Forage parties out, those from our Reg't being chased by some mounted rebels. The cits are all Rebels, many of the men being disabled
