Sandersville is county seat of Washington Co. a mile east. Our 2nd Division had a fight here this afternoon and lost a few men. Old Wheeler seems to be in com'd and is bound to hinder us all the way through taking all the Cits able to bear arms to help him. 27" At daybreak our division moved out the Louisville road while the supply train went with the 2" Div on another road, We were on the extreme left, and halted for dinner at a cross road
