The boys who sent the recruit to him [? code?] December 1864 1st Weather seems to be getting warmer. Had the "general" at 9 AM but did not move out until 1 PM then moved out the Wanesboro road. The Cavalry go before and skirmish all afternoon and we saw the first dead cavalryman we ever saw. Our whole Div
