I Have Not any Desire to be a bad Boy no not in this Land of Plenty; which offers Every Inducement for Vice & sin as well as for Improvemnt - I have of Late Taken frequent walks in the Evening and at Every corner of the Streets especially after leaving Broadway - & not unfrequently on Broadway: is to be seen. Women Dressed in the Best of Stile. whip Round the corner of the street & if there Does not any one follow them - they will come back & try again and I suppose they continue to Do So untill they Get a boe - and then on the Back streets you will see men waiting for the women to come along & women waiting for men to come; See them busily Engaged Making Bargain & if any person passes near them they will separate for a few paces & soon as you pass Return and Return their conversation - think it would be a good place for Owen You May Rest assured that I shall be a good boy untill I come Home and I would come Home Immediately if I Did not think I am Spending my time Here to good advantage - Every Day Brings Something of Interest to my notice - You probably Had not Recd my second Letter when You wrote Last but probably Recd. it the next mail - well to You there will be something amusing in all of them - You must think well of what they contain on my acct if You please - for If I was writing for the Inspection of Every one; I might write a Little Different Mrs A A.
