looking out of the very window at which I am writing is talking disloyalty a young man came to the window out side and spoke to her of some one, she asked if he was confederate when she was answered yes she says I love him then, do we have as much patriotism at the north. The Land Lady showed me some little books like those pa brought home said a gentleman brought them for the Federal Soldiers had those left gave them to her; she said after they got through reading them she was going to take them up to the Prison, now those prisoners are Rebels. There is but one Union Church in the City, the rest are all Rebel) When will the war close) I go north on the first boat, to Cincinnati.
